Process Analysis

The purpose of this step is to get a good insight in the the work process. If needed the following can be done:

1. create an overview of the company within its environment and the relevant stakeholders





2. create an overview of the inside of the company to identify the main departments and their interaction, in relation to a service or product development or a manufacturing process

There are many ways to analyze and present processes e.g. Systems theory and Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) The aim is to determine the process and knowledge that should be focussed on as input for the next step "Knowledge Identification".
